i wear them everytime i go out. every once and while i will lose one, just dont open your eyes under water and you will be fine. ridin with out them sucks if your like me and cant see shit.

I always wear them when go out. I never lost a lens while bodyboarding but eyes can get irritated easily with sand and salt build up. Make sure to rinse them when you get out and wash salt the of your face or you could wake up not being able stand the light with eye infection/irritation.

in my experiances contacts are so much comfier in salt water vs freshwater. and ive never had them come out in the salt water but they have in the fresh

Think of saltwater as saline anyways. I have worn contacts for 10+ years in the water. Used to lose a ton way back, and am used to carrying an extra set. Get heavier soft lenses and you will be good.

I have always worn mine when surfing. Like the other dude, I can't not wear them, otherwise I won't be able to even see the waves coming in. But I somehow manage to lose them constantly. Surfed this past weekend 4 days in a row and lost 3 contacts. So annoying.
