A secret wedge that hasn't worked in five years...

Nothing out of the ordinary to know, really. Don't go out at the first place you check... different spots work for different swells, and it's tough to predict which will be best at any given time.

and yeah just like chris said, your best option is to simply just check every so many blocks, find your own peak or sandbar and get some.
