I am new to Toronto + rode in Socal and OZ in the past but eager to get some tips on coldwater gear and spots locally.

Does anyone here ride Lake Ontario or have any good spots in NYC closer to the border??

Any recommendations for booties/gloves???

Is a 5/4/3 hooded wetsuit sufficient for winter riding??

Any help would be greatly apprecaited, I have been doing some research on spots in Lake Ontario + me and a few friends would definitely be down to ride with others so hit me up if interested.

Where in Oz and SoCal have you been?

For boots, you're going to want to go thick and get a pair of finds that work. I'm not sure of the temp for gloves up there, but I'd probably go thick too.

On suit, it depends. I would think you'd want to go with a full 6 mil.
